I have written out a summer list. I shall, sometime, write it all out on here, but for now, I am going to write about my first adventure..
When I was a wee lass, I would always watch in amazement when my Dad would be on the roof hanging up the Christmas lights. I always thought it would be fascinating to see life from that point of view. I remember several failed attempts of me trying to climb the porch rail and get up on the there. But I never did. On my summer list , I wrote I would like to get up on the roof. So this morning. I did. SHHHHHH, don't tell my Mom. (She isn't exactly aware of this at the moment, hehe ). But it was so awesome! I carefully put the ladder beside the house, and climbed up. Once I sat upon the ridge line, looking out at my home, I felt a sense of accomplishment. And I felt happy. Happy that I finally did what I have always wanted to do, and happy because I had just had my first adventure. :) I have been hit with an awful amount of fernweh today. (anyone who follows my pinterest can say to that).
Most of the stuff on my list this summer is ADVENTURES. I texted my Mom today, begging if I could have just ONE day,( with Perry of course) to have all my adventures. I'm looking forward to it. Can you imagine?! A WHOLE day of adventures! AHHH, so exciting. I don't know when it shall be, but I know for a fact that next weekend is defintely going to be an adventure! I ain't sharing the deets yet, but just keep and eye out that Monday ;). Do you have any summer adventures planned?

A FLOWER STORY
Matt and I were perusing all the seed packets at Home Depot one night, a year or two ago. We couldn't decide if we wanted to grow food or flowers. We decided flowers. But.. uh... There was like a million flower packets! AH! After deep consideration, we decided to get the Gladiolas. I remember we were so excited with our seeds and bulbs, that we planted them soon after. Matt and I dug holes all over our land, pushing in the multi- colored bulbs into the earth. Some of them grew. Some of them didn't. And just a few, actually bloomed.
This morning I walked out the front door to see one of our Gladiolas's bloomed. Matt and I shared our excitment, as this is the 2nd year it has bloomed.

||SUMMER PLAYDATES||
Friday Morning we were all a bustle trying to get out the door to our besties house. After finding all the mac'n'cheese boxes, stuffing towels in bags and charging Perry, we made it out the door. The first thing we did was (of course) did a photo-shoot. It turned more into a gymnastics show. I was flipping, tumbling and twisting. As many of you know, I am a retired gymnast, and I haven't been in the gym in a long time. It felt real good doing my thing.
Funny story to this photo. Sarah was looking for a speck on my lens, and I snapped away as she was looking. :)
Then, after lunch, someone had the bright idea of going walking.... For some reason, I went along. It. was. hot. and. I. was. roasting... THANKFULLY AJ, had his skateboard, in which I hitched a ride on.
We swam almost all day. I am so sun burnt right now. My skin is as red as a tomato. But we had a good time.
Thank you Anna and Sarah for taking all these photo's of me!
Sunburnt and tired, Morgan.

SUMMER TIME
The summer days seem to be having an effect on me. I am rather tired, and all I want to do is lounge around in sun dresses, and nap on the hammock. Yes Perry, you can come too. But I only napped a few moments before we were off to get a YUM YUM frosty, then headed to the park. Here is Perry and I's work. :)
Ooohhh. The light!

A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER//
Saturday morning, Mom and I began our day with an impromptu breakfast at McDonalds. I had a lovely ice cold caramel frappe to start off my day. I have never had one before, and I loooooved it. Think I have found a new favorite. Those moments, when I'm sitting in a booth, with coffee in my hand, with morning light streaming in, with my lovely mom for company.. Those are the moments I wish I had Perry with me. Or an iPhone. After our lovely breakfast, I was off to work. I had a lovely day at work, where I ended up having a photo shoot and a family portrait session planned. The photos will be up later.
After a few hours of Lark Rise to Candleford, Mom pulled up and it was time to leave for our friends band debut. I was excited! It was a festival, filled with music, italian ice cream and dogs galore!
I went and got me some ice cream (green apple!) And it was DELICIOUS!. I put my spoon in Anna's mouth, giving her a bite, then did the same for Sarah . After all of us three girls ate off the same spoon, I offered Matt some. He declined. :P. It was so cool seeing my besties playing all together! I have watched them a few times in their basement before, but this was big and the whole park was here to see them! Anna and I watched as the Atlanta Journal came up, took a few photos and was interviewing them! How awesome is that?! Here are a few snapshots Perry and I took. :)
Then Sunday morning arrived. The day we all celebrate all our lovely fathers. We went to my grandfathers morning service, thought he didn't know we were coming. When we walked in the door, I will never forget, that biggest smile and the most joyful look on his face. He was soo happy we came. After the service we went to Cheddars restaurant for the first time. I liked it pretty good, I'm just not big on fancy restaurants. :) My Daddy had a lovely day with us, and golfing with my brother in law. Love you lots Daddy!

Going to a senior photo-shoot today.
Getting some ice cream.
Getting my license... SOON!
Perry has to to the doctor! Peaches (perry's lens) has a water mark on it, so I have a black dot in all my photos!
Trying to finish the endless computer work I have.
Frappe's are my new favorites.
~AWKWARD~
Being in church service and your sister gives you and altoid.
People come over to meet you, and you are talking to them with an altoid in the back of your throat.
Trying to sing with a burning altoid in your mouth.
Listening to choking stories while your eating.
Have a lovely Monday peeps!
