2012 favorites & adieu

2012 had it's ups and downs. We had a lot of changes and a lot of new adjustments. I have learned much, and have grown much. I look back at the beginning of January and cannot believe how much I've grown. It's weird. Besides the constant hair colour/length change, I've had other changes as well...

Completed first {real} movie.
Moved downstairs.
Started photography.
Got my license.
Painted my room by myself.
Added a new addition to our family.


Okay, that doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm sure if I had more time, I could think up some more stuff ;)

2012 stuff~
finished a movie. got my camera. re-started my blog. made a few movies. chalked the roads. played CTF. stargazed/ camped with my friends. narrated a "star wars" re-enactment. moved downstairs. discovered Hunger Games. memorized almost every Taylor Swift song. started driving.got chickens.
mom broke her leg. saw lots of great movies. saw a spider that was the size of shelob....{maaaaybe I'm exaggerating} changed my hair colour and length several times. got a make-over from friends. got lightroom 4 and VSCO 2. started photography "business". added two or three more things to "what Morgan can cook' list. {spaghetti, chili, potato soup and mac'n'cheese) became much closer to my brother and sisters. got toms. re-arranged my room a million time. got a tumblr. got a pinterest. learned the Virgina's reel and some swing dancing steps. turned 17.


2013 goals/resolutions
Journal everyday.
Make video diary's .
Buy washi tape.
Read my bible more.
Complete at least one film.
Go on a summer road trip (the beach!!)
Have a film challenge.
Re-do my room in 2013 style.
Play more with my siblings.



I am so ready for 2013. I feel like a snake shedding it's skin, or a butterfly shaking free of it's cocoon. I'm ready to leave this year behind, and go on with new adventures. My word for 2012 was ROOTED. I believe my 2013 word will be HOPE.
2012 was very hard. I've been thinking about it the last couple days. Today while driving down the road, this song came on the radio. It pretty much summed up my thoughts , and I decided this would be my 2013 song. 2013 seems to be promising me hope, hope that I haven't felt in a while. And I am excited.
I say adieu 2012, i don't think i will miss you.

Matt is now big enough to beat me at wrestling and running :( I use to say "pin ya again" when we'd fight when we were younger. The other day he beat me. And you can guess what he said to me as my hand were pinned down.... :(

Today I took my siblings to the park. Lauryn was styling her new sunglasses and monkey hat, so I HAD to take some pictures of her. It's weird going to the park by yourself. Weird being "in charge".
But we had fun. We played tag, swung and I taught them the Virgina's reel. Sorry I've been MIA lately. Christmas and all... Speaking of Christmas... I am now the proud owner of VSCO 2. I am ecstatic.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has a happy new year. I will be making a 2013 resolution vlog soon, so stay tuned. And I have a family shoot that I will be posting soon as well! Yay!
