Britt Nicoles new album came out Monday. I like some of the songs, but a few of them she has made them really ROCK and TECHNO, niether of which are my forte ;)

Today I leaped out of my comfort zone.

Mom, Matt and Lauryn went to a horse show this morning.

Matt went because he wanted to spend time with Lauryn, and bless her.

I ended up staying home. With Yule.

(We ended up running around like maniacs playing Hide & Seek in the house)

And then

we got into a conversation about anger.

I told her that when I was younger, I use to be very angry and mean.

I told her that it was the same with Matt.

I told her that the Lord did a big work in us, and that we are no longer angry.

And we rarely EVER fight.

Yule teared up at that.

I told her that we were very happy that we had a new sister, named Yuliya, and that

we loved her very very very very much.

Yule choked back her tears and was unable to respond right away.

But she managed a cracked:

"I love you too."

I tell people that I am not a very affectionate person.

But in reality, that's not true.

The person I have made myself is not very affectionate.

But God is bigger than me, and he recently showed me that that is NOT who I

was created to be.

That actually, I am a real loving and affectionate person.

I just don't show it. Because it's awkward for me.

But awkwardness is within me.

And I need (and AM) getting over it.

The Lorax

Today we went to Cumming and enjoyed Steak & Shake for lunch. Then we went adn watched The Lorax, at the amc theater. It was cute, but I don't know if I'd watch it twice. I think my main attraction was:
Zac Efron & Taylor Swift voice in it. And it was about trees. Yup. My Mom and I are going to see Hunger Games sometime within 30 days LOL. We just got home, and we are all chilling. :)

Tuesdays Musings

Today, I spent most of the afternoon alone. The whole house was silent. (SAAWWEEET)
LOL, JK. But seriously..
Anyhoo, when my family arrived back from their activity (the barn) I  went outside and shot some pictures with my youngest sister. And they actually came out really well.

Randomness

Team Peeta! Okay, well, not really anything to write so I just shared some of my recent photography. ;) While your at it, check out the new page at my sister blog, I made.

Cheddar

I remember when I was a little girl, and I would hang around my Grandmas feet when she was in her kitchen. She always bought the big hunks of cheddar for her salads ( my favorite). She would slowly, one by one, cut the hunk up and place it in a bowl. I would always stare with big eyes watching and hoping she might give me a slice. And she always did. Always.

Some of my favorite memories with my Grandma happened in her mountain home kitchen. I loved to help her bake cakes (and lick the spoons) taste her coffee, and watch the morning news with her , all the while drinking whole milk.

The Robin Hood Premiere

Robin Hood is OUT. Not on YouTube yet. But it is finished. We had the premiere yesterday. All I have to do is work on the bonus features. Sigh. The premiere went well, and I watched it with some other buds today. I got all positive remarks and high fives.

The crew.

Coffee.

I love coffee.

 My family rarely drinks it.

Except when we have a breakfast with someone.

Which is not very often.

But this morning I awoke to the smell of it.

(Well actually my Mom said: "Get out of bed or no coffee)

So naturally I rushed out of bed.

After a few photos I took my share.

Making sure no one was watching me, I poured myself a little bit more creamer.

Then I walked out on the porch. The grey sky hovering over me.

Me breathing in the now familiar smell of Spring.

Ahh, it was going to be a busy day.

I quickly drank my coffee as I watched my Sister pour a huge amount of creamer in hers.

Then I got ready for work.

And the busy day ahead.

Inspiration Board

I got the idea off one of my favorite blogs. Since I didn't have any magazine that were inspiration worthy, I called my older sister who had a stack of Instyle magazines. Thanks a million Ashley!

I then went through the magazines cutting out words that I liked and or liked the photos around the words or just even random words with cool typography. I plan on making more soon. But my inspiration board (I think) really shows who I am, and who I want to be.

Even though I did not find the word in any of those magazines, my word for this year is DEFINITELY

Deeper.

It has been a very changing year for all of us, but Deeper is exactly where I am right now. God has (and IS doing) a much more deeper work in me then I thought possible. I am being stretched deeper everyday. And I am learning to love deeper everyday.

On a fashion note

Something I like about wearing lace short sleeves with these pants, is it gives it a more vintage look. Lace is really in right now, and so is navy blue and orange. Thought I'd mix them all together.
